While our neighbors in the Northeast are already sporting turtle necks and multi-colored Hunter boots, we Floridians still have a couple months of " Summer" to enjoy!

Trick or Treat:

Are you ready for Hallows Eve yet? We started celebrating early! Last weekend was my niece's Halloween Party, and I must say everything turned out beautiful (kudos to lil sis)! We got printables from Paper Glitter and made stickers and labels for the cups and candy station. We also found beautiful orange paper lanterns and hung them from the trees. There were also plenty of things which kept the kids entertained, from face painting to hayrides! Kids' parties on a budget are not without a lot of work though! There were plenty of late nights putting everything together (my poor sis)!

I saw these Michael Kors beauties on a girl at a cocktail this week. My eyes must have followed her feet all night! Can you blame me?

I just got back from a nice little anniversary vacation with the hub. It was all I expected and more (nice cold weather, delicious food, and beautiful places). Here are a few of my favorites!

The other day I entered a little contest on one of my favorite daily reads Pretty Lovely. The giveaway was a beautiful "Lucky In Love" four-leaf brass clover from ten things. To my surprise I received an email a week later letting me know I had won the giveaway contest & today I received the package in the mail! {And} it's as pretty as I imagined! Check out their etsy shop for more unique pieces!
{you can't appreciate how pretty it is from these pics}

Fall is in the air:

Okay, so wishful thinking. Here in Florida we only have two seasons: hot and not as hot! Fall is my favorite time of year, and I purposely plan my vacations during the Fall so I can visit cities to enjoy Harvest Festivals, apple cider, & anything made with squash! This year my husband and I will be visiting Newport & Martha's Vineyard. We can't wait!
